General Description
The heel guard (right side R/S) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S replaces the original aluminium component. This heel guard is supplied in a gloss finish, contrasting with the matte carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance.The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly outperforms conventional clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
