The carbon heel guard for the Triumph Speed Triple replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
