The heel guard for the R 1300 GS stands out from the crowd with its impressive size and optimally protects your feet.

The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch.

The final clear coat layer comes in a silky matt version, which further accentuates the optical highlights of the material.

Each carbon part is unique and reminiscent of marble. The BDC is also laminated by hand at Ilmberger, cures in several stages in an autoclave, and impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The different fibres scatter the incoming light and create an unprecedented reflection.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
