The heel guards right side R/S and left side L/S in carbon for the Ducati 1199 Panigale are delivered with a matt lacquered surface and thus integrate perfectly into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The carbon heel guard for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
