General description
The heel guard (left side L/S) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S and Streetfighter V4 replaces the original aluminium part. This heel guard is supplied in a gloss finish, contrasting with the matte carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance.The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
The heel guard (left side L/S) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S replaces the original aluminium part. This heel guard is supplied in a gloss finish, contrasting with the matte carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance.
