The carbon heel guard for the Ducati Streetfighter replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
