The heel guard for the R 1300 GS stands out from the crowd with its impressive size and optimally protects your feet.
The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch.

The final clear coat comes in a satin matte version, which further accentuates the material's optical highlights.

Each carbon part is unique and reminiscent of marble. The BDC is also hand-laminated at Ilmberger, cured in several stages in an autoclave, and impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The various fibres disperse the incoming light, creating an unprecedented reflection.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, ensures an unparalleled and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the material's high quality.
