Ilmberger Carbon head light cover, matt carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for Ducati Diavel 1260, model year 2019-General description
The carbon head light cover in a matt finish, for the Ducati Diavel 1260 from 2019, replaces the original part and is bolted to the original mounting points on the vehicle. The high-tech carbon part is significantly lighter than its standard plastic counterpart! But as always, we not only focus on weight savings, but also on the increased stiffness of the material and the particularly sporty look of the carbon fibres. In the matt finish, the carbon part perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance parts.
The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
