General description

Our carbon handguards for the BMW S1000XR offer significantly increased protection against cold and rainwater. Thanks to a cleverly chosen design, the handguards do not appear significantly larger than the original part and integrate perfectly into the overall appearance of the S1000XR. For mounting the handguards, the brackets of the original BMW handguards are used. The carbon handguards for the BMW S1000XR replace the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, covered with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. .
