General Description

When equipment a true adventure bike, handguards on the handlebar are, of course, a must-have. The carbon (glossy) handguard for the left side of the Ducati Multistrada DVT (from model year 2015) and Ducati Enduro (from model year 2016) precisely replaces the original plastic part, utilising the original mounting points. The glossy plastic coating particularly accentuates the three-dimensional carbon structure here. The handguard is taller than the original, thus offering even more protection against weather influences and stone chips. Due to the high rigidity and stability of the carbon handguards, the mounting for the clutch fluid reservoir could be directly integrated into the protector. Even the flanks, which are very open on the original, are significantly more closed on our carbon part to increase protection and stability here too. Thanks to the low weight of the protectors, combined with high resistance, the performance of these sporty "all terrain vehicles" is further emphasised. The gloss finish here contrasts with the original Ducati Performance carbon parts, which are supplied in a matte finish. Naturally, we also offer all parts for the new Multistrada series in a matte finish. The parts are mounted using original mounting points. Of course, the cover can also be ordered in a matte carbon finish, and then harmonises perfectly with the original Ducati Performance accessory carbon parts. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
