The carbon pillion seat cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and MonsteR1200S replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg material (see FAQ) in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating vastly outperforms conventional clear lacquer coatings in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. With ABE (General Operating Permit).
