General Description
The exhaust heat shield with a glossy carbon surface for the Ducati Panigale 1299 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
