The carbon swingarm cover for the Ducati 1299 Panigale is delivered with a glossy painted surface. On the inside, the swingarm cover is reinforced with Kevlar at exposed, fall-prone areas for better protection of the swingarm. The carbon swingarm cover for the Ducati 1299 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
