The carbon sprocket cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and 1200 S is supplied with a gloss finish, blending perfectly with the overall look of original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The sprocket cover replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
