General Description

The sprocket cover is one of the most underestimated components on the entire motorcycle. Centrally installed on the motorcycle, it surrounds the engine sprocket and does more than it may seem at first glance. It protects the engine and many other components from flying chain grease during riding. This grease is particularly stubborn as dirt and is difficult to remove from the soft surface of the original part. A hard surface, such as that found in high-quality carbon, is more suitable here.
But not only technically, but also visually, the component can utilise its full potential. Installed in just a few minutes, the value of the motorcycle is enormously increased once again. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned with each other. This way, the carbon part nestles perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the overall result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with a unique look but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, ensures an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
To make not only riding but also wrenching a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
