General description
The license plate holder (short version) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S and Streetfighter V4 replaces the original metal/plastic-component. This license plate holder is delivered in a gloss finish, contrasting with the matte carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance. Thanks to its special design, the license plate holder further accentuates the light rear of the Panigale V4, while maintaining the vehicle's streetn approval. The license plate holder is suitable for mounting all common license plate types.The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. Not only does the coating offer technical advantages, but it also distinctly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
