The fairing panel (gloss) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S is supplied with a glossy finish and thus contrasts with the original Ducati Performance parts supplied in matt carbon.The Ilmberger Carbon fairing panel is fitted instead of the standard plastic part. The Ilmberger component is exclusively mounted at standard mounting points.
The focus is on weight saving (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, to protect against environmental influences, coated with a clear plastic finish.
This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
