Product Details
Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank upper cover for BMW R1200GS (LC) Adventure (from model year 2014-), with ABE as per application list.General Description
The upper carbon fuel tank cover for the BMW R1200GS (LC) Adventure (from 2014) not only completes a fully carbon-wrapped bike, but also looks great on its own on the GS. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically approx. 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.| Manufacturer | Model | Additional Designation | Type | Model Year | Homologation | ccm |
