Product details
Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank side cover insert right side R/S for original fuel tank side fairing, glossy carbon, for Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), type SC82, model year from 2020 onwards, with ABE according to the usage list.General description
The right fuel tank side cover insert for original fuel tank side fairing, made of carbon with a glossy finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), SC82, from 2020 onwards, replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The main focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
