Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank protector lower tail section gloss, for Ducati Panigale V4 Racing 2019-General description
The lower fuel tank protector for the tail section is available in two surface finishes. The matt surface finish perfectly matches the original carbon parts installed on the Panigale V4 / V4 S Racing. The carbon fuel tank cover for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S Racing replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically but also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
