General description

The upper fuel tank cover replaces the original part using the original mounting points. The fuel tank cover connects the two upper fairing halves and gives the V4 an even more aggressive look. Naturally, the Ilmberger carbon part is provided with cut-outs for engine ventilation. The carbon part is delivered in a matt finish and perfectly matches the original Ducati Performance carbon parts. Racing part without ABE!

The upper fuel tank fairing closes off fronte flush and offers complete protection for the fuel tank with the TAV.135.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This ensures the carbon part blends perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides a previously unmatched and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
