Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank cover right side R/S, glossy carbon, with ABE according to the usage list, for Ducati Diavel 1260, model year 2019-General description
The fuel tank cover for the right side, made of glossy carbon, for the Ducati Diavel 1260 from 2019 onwards, replaces the original part and is screwed to the original mounting points on the vehicle. This high-tech carbon part is significantly lighter than its standard plastic counterpart! But as always, our focus is not only on weight savings but also on the increased stiffness of the material and the particularly sporty look of the carbon fibres. In the glossy version, the Ilmberger carbon part contrasts with the matte carbon parts offered by Ducati-Performance.The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, was subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
