The upper fuel tank cover Racing (complete) made of carbon with a matte finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), SC82, from 2020- replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Racing part - not approved for road use!The focus is on weight saving (typically savings of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
