General Description

The fuel tank Cover for the Ducati Diavel V4 is always in the watchful eye of its rider. It elegantly tapers towards front and forms an optical transition from fuel tank to the ignition button and handlebar. The final clear coat is in the matt version and is identical to the clear coat used on Ducati Performance parts. For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, painstakingly laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, convinces not only with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content. To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of influences from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material. So that not only riding, but also wrenching is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original mounting points for this part. The facts:
