Ilmberger Carbon fuel tank cover Racing, glossy carbon, without street approval, for HondaCBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), type SC82, model year from 2020-
General description
The upper carbon fuel tank cover Racing (complete) with a glossy finish for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SP), SC82, from 2020- replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Racing part - not approved for road use!The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured completely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating far surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
