General description
The front mudguard in our unique design for the BMW K 1600 GT, K 1200 GT and K 1300 GT (2006-2011) blends perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle.This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the finish not only scores technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
