General Description
The carbon front mudguard for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S from 2018 and Streetfighter V4 from 2020 is delivered with a glossy painted surface. The carbon front mudguard replaces the original component using the original mounting points and original screws. As is typical for Ilmberger, the mudguard is delivered iincluding an internal cable guide for the ABS sensor cable. The special bracket for the brake lines is also present on the Ilmberger carbon part - the original lines only need to be hooked in.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as usual, then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
