General Description

The carbon front mudguard for the BMW R 1300 GS is an excellent choice to give your motorcycle a unique and sporty look. Thanks to its length, it offers improved splash protector.

The innovative BDC material is used here, giving the component a completely new and individual touch. The surface of each BDC part is unique and resembles marble. BDC is also hand-laminated at Ilmberger and cured in several stages in an autoclave. The material impresses not only with its exciting appearance but also with its technical properties. The various fibres disperse the incident light and create a hitherto unknown reflection.

The final clear coat on this component is in the silk-matt version and emphasises the luxurious sporty look of the component.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
