The front fender for the BMW R1200R (2007-2014) replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Key benefits are weight reduction (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, was subsequently coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
