General description

The carbon framerear fairing replaces the original part without limiting its functionality. The pannier racks – as well as the grab handles for the pillion passenger – are retained, and both pillion passengers and travel cases can be taken along on the street. By using high-quality carbon, up to 70% of the weight can be saved compared to the original. Handling is optimised, riding pleasure is increased, and safety is improved.
But the component can exploit its full potential not only technically but also visually. Installed in just a few minutes, the value of the motorcycle is significantly increased once again. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are laid into the mould by experts and aligned with each other. Thus, the carbon part fits perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result. For the framerear fairing, the combination with the license plate holder and the upper tail fairing is particularly suitable.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with a unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. With the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakageof its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear lacquer, provides an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
So that not only riding but also wrenching is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
