The frame tail fairing in carbon replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The upper original number plate holder is no longer needed, and we recommend the use of our splash protector including number plate holder. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability.
