General description

The frame lower tail cover made of carbon for the BMW S 1000 R 2021 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This allows the carbon part to blend perfectly with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more impressive the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only boasts a unique appearance but also exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of influences from the environment, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
To ensure that not only riding, but also fitting, is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
