The carbon cover for the frame with our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017 integrates perfectly into the overall appearance of the motorcycle. Of course, the small cover can also be mounted without the large frame cover we offer under item number RAL.016.CBR17.K.This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
