The upper carbon fuel tank cover for the Triumph Speed Triple replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. This carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave, according to the latest guidelines. As is standard for us, it was then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses conventional clear lacquer coatings in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
