General description

The carbon frame cover right side R/S for the BMW S 1000 R 2021 is additionally mounted on the frame. This provides even better protection. Thanks to suitable cut-outs, it can remain on the motorcycle during all maintenance service work. Due to the low thermal conductivity of carbon, the surface remains noticeably cooler and riding comfort is increased.
To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid into the mould and aligned. This way, the carbon part perfectly nestles into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in similar forms in Formula 1 and space travel. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with a unique look but also with its unique technical properties. At the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, ensures an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
To ensure that not only riding but also wrenching is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original mounting points for this part.
