frame Cover left side L/S - BMW S1000XR from 2015. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only excels technically, but it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
