Product details

Ilmberger Carbon frame cover left side L/S for M frame small version, carbon for BMW S1000RR (from model year 2019-) and M1000RR (from model year 2020-), with ABE according to the usage list.

General description

This carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as usual, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating far exceeds the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also significantly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
