The carbon wind flap on the front mudguard for the Triumph Speed Triple replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability.
