The carbon air deflector on the fairing side panel for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. The fabric structure of the offered parts visually matches the original parts offered by Ducati very well.
