The rear wheel cover in carbon for the Ducati 1199 Panigale is supplied with a matt painted surface and thus integrates perfectly into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The rear carbon fender for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
