General Description

The wings for the BMW S1000RR 2023 bring aerodynamic benefits to both street and the racetrack. The new design combines a sporty, modern look with the positive effects on handling already known from the M1000RR. The right wing can be combined not only with the original side panel, but also with the Ilmberger Carbon street and Racing side panel.

For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, painstakingly hand-laminated and cured in multiple stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its exceptionally low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all types of environmental influences, we, as the world's only carbon manufacturer, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear lacquer, this provides an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.

So that not only riding but also fitting is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original mounting points for this part.
