Right fairing winglet - BMW R 1250 RS (LC) from 2019This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured according to the latest guidelines entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave and then, as is usual for us, coated with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
