Left fairing winglet - BMW R 1250 RS from 2019 onwardsThis product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. However, the coating not only scores technically, but it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
