The fairing upper part for the Ducati Panigale V4 R Racing is supplied with a matte surface finish and the matte finish of the surface perfectly matches the original carbon parts installed on the Panigale V4 R Racing. The Ilmberger carbon fairing upper part is installed instead of the standard plastic part. The Ilmberger component is mounted exclusively at standard mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
