Product Details

Ilmberger Carbon Fairing Side Panel right side R/S, glossy carbon, with ABE according to the application list, for BMW M1000R, type SM99, model year 2023-

General Description

The fairing side panel for the M1000R from 2023 onwards replaces the original part and is prepared for the installation of the right winglet. The distinctive look of real carbon with high-quality sealing emphasises the bike's sportiness.

For our carbon products, we exclusively use pre-preg fabric specifically produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unprecedented and unique deep effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.

To ensure that not only riding but also tinkering is a pleasure, we exclusively use the original mounting points for this part.
