The fairing side panel for the BMW S1000RR from 2017 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The upper part of the fairing side panel is manufactured in one piece with the side panels on these carbon parts; the upper part of the fairing side panel does not need to be purchased separately with our fairing side panels. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance and durability.
