General description

The carbon fairing side panel left side L/S for the BMW S 1000 R 2021 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Additionally, these are prepared for the installation of winglets.



To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This allows the carbon part to blend perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts that are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, elaborately laminated by hand and cured in an autoclave in several stages, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it possesses three times the specific stiffness of steel and, at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencesn, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear lacquer, this provides a previously unmatched and unique depth effect, which highlights the high quality of the material particularly strongly.
So that not only riding but also working on the bike is a pleasure, we use only the original fastening points for this part.
