Ilmberger Carbon Fairing Side Panel left side L/S, for BMW M1000RR street (from model year 2020-)General Description
The left carbon fairing side panel replaces the original component using the original mounting points.Weight saving (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity are the main priorities. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic finish significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating doesn't just score points technically; it also clearly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
