The one-piece carbon road engine spoiler for the BMW HP 4 (2012-current) is made from special high-temperature pre-preg carbon material and designed for use in conjunction with the original exhaust system. To mount the engine spoiler, you will need the mounting kit with order number VEH.047.HP4ST.K. This kit includes the necessary brackets, screws, and quick-release fasteners. This engine spoiler can also be used on the BMW S1000RR in conjunction with a 4-in-1 racing full system. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% saving compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability.
