General description

The carbon exhaust heat shield fronte on muffler/silencer for the BMW S 1000 R 2021 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. For OEM exhaust systems where no attachment, bracket is present on the header from the factory, we additionally offer an innovative bracket that also enables mounting in these cases.

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This way, the carbon part nestles perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, meticulously laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel, and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced with us due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influencess, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
To ensure that not only riding but also assembly is a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.
